Our team

Andrew is based in our London office and joined in February 2022. Andrew, who is also Head of Investments at Pendal’s UK-based J O Hambro Capital Management business, has more than 30 years of asset management experience with a focus on equities, investment strategy, business development, leadership and strategic client relationships. Over the past decade he has become one of the most knowledgeable and respected leaders in sustainability.

Andrew most recently served as Head of Sustainable Investing at Newton Investment Management, where he went beyond ESG to explore how sustainable investing can support a transition to a more resilient and equitable system while encouraging a forward-looking, long-term approach to investing.

Prior to this, Andrew was at Hermes Investment Management for 13 years where he was Head of Sustainable Investing and formed the Impact Opportunities team with Tim Crockford, who now heads up Regnan’s Equity Impact Solutions team.

In addition, Andrew is a member of the CFA UK Inclusion and Diversity Committee and a Trustee Director of the Trafalgar House Pension Scheme and a member of the Investment Committee.

Chris has been working with Regnan or its predecessor since 1998, and in that time has worked extensively on the development of ESG/responsible investment research to meet the evolving needs of retail and institutional investor clients.

He currently leads Regnan’s client service function, maintaining and overseeing existing and prospective client relations. He also coordinates Regnan’s research program, and regularly engages with ASX200 companies as part of the Regnan engagement service.

Chris has experience in investment markets, and financial management and audit processes across a variety of industries, from a career that spans professional services, investment banking and academia. Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master’s in Environmental Science, and a PhD focused on the intersection of business and the environment. He has published a number of peer reviewed papers.

Oshadee commenced at Regnan as an ESG analyst in 2015. He is responsible for stock level assessment and engagement, as well as research into ESG themes and issues. Prior to joining Regnan, Osh was Assistant Vice President at PolitEcon Research where he conducted research into ESG integration with a focus on sustainable investing. He has also interned at the UNEP Finance Initiative, providing support for sustainable supply chain and climate change adaptation projects.

Osh holds a Master of Arts in Environmental Management and Sustainability and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Development and Environmental Analysis, both from Monash University. He has also studied at Coventry University (UK), obtaining a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).

Ed Geall joined Regnan in February 2022 as a Senior Research Analyst. Working in close collaboration with Regnan’s investment teams, his core responsibilities are centred on sustainable and thematic research – at both the stock and wider thematic level – as well as engagement with investee companies. Prior to joining Regnan, Ed worked at Newton Investment Management, where he focused on research for the firm’s thematic and sustainable strategies. Before joining the investment management industry, Ed was a lecturer and tutor at the University of Warwick. Ed completed his Ph.D. at Warwick, where his research was sponsored by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).

Nikolaos is based in our London office and joined in May 2022. As part of Regnan, Nikolaos’s role involves supporting the Investment Teams’ research across Pendal Group to allow the business to use data in proprietary ways to support the commercial development of our product range, especially for sustainability impact research and reporting. Previously Nikolaos worked at La Fayette Investment Management, Prius Partners Ltd, Barclays Investment Bank and most recently, Federated Hermes.

Nikolaos holds an MSc in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University, an MPhil in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London and is a visiting fellow at the Global Systems Institute of Exeter University.

Grace joined Regnan in 2022 as a Senior Research and Engagement Analyst. Grace is responsible for stock ESG assessment, thematic research and engagement with investee companies. Prior to joining Regnan, Grace was Head of Research at Stansberry Research where she took responsible for equity research for the Chinese market. Before moving to Australia, Grace worked as an M&A manager and a private equity analyst in China where she gained experience in equity analysis and corporate governance.

Grace holds a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Commercial Law from Beijing Technology and Business University. She is a CFA and holds the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing. She has published a documentary-style novel in Chinese, revealing corporate governance risks in the M&A process and capital markets.

Geraldine joined Regnan in September 2022. She is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of ESG research and engagement insights that impact financial value and real-world outcomes. Before joining Regnan, Geraldine was a Responsible Investment Analyst at TWUSUPER where she supported the fund’s investment team in enhancing and implementing the fund’s responsible investment approach. Prior to that, Geraldine was an Investment Analyst at Lonsec Research where she conducted qualitative and quantitative research on investment products such as managed funds. Geraldine holds a Master of Finance and a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy), both from RMIT University.

Rebecca joined Regnan in 2023 as a Research and Engagement Analyst. She is responsible for ESG stock analysis and engagement, as well as thematic research. Previously, Rebecca has held ESG analyst and strategist roles at Neuberger Berman and Carmignac. She was also previously a Commercial Banking Analyst at Lloyds Banking Group.

Rebecca graduated with Distinction from the Climate Change, Management and Finance MSc degree at Imperial College London in 2020. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and Business Management from the University of Birmingham. Finally, Rebecca holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.

Jeremy leads the Responsible Investment Distribution strategy across Institutional, Wholesale and For-Purpose clients. He works closely with the Investment boutiques and Regnan Advisory to deliver client solution that seek meet both investment outcomes and sustainable goals.

Prior to joining the company, Jeremy held senior product and distribution roles at the Westpac-owned BT Financial Group (Listed Equity Products), Westpac Institutional Bank (Equity Derivatives and Debt Markets) and Citi (Global Markets and Banking).

Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Business (Charles Sturt) and a Masters of Applied Finance (Macquarie University). Jeremy is a CIMA® professional.

Bertrand leads the Thematic Investing strategy at Regnan. He is Senior Fund Manager on the Regnan Sustainable Water and Waste strategy. Previously he was a Portfolio Manager at Fidelity International, where he launched and managed the Fidelity Funds – Sustainable Water & Waste Fund. Prior to joining Fidelity International in 2018 Bertrand was a Portfolio Manager at Polar Capital and the founder and CIO of Aquilys Investment Management. Before moving to the buyside, Bertrand was Head of Equity Research, France at Deutsche Bank and a utilities analyst at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and Goldman Sachs. He holds an MSc in International Finance from HEC School of Management, France, an MSc in Money, Banking and Finance from Birmingham University, UK, and a DEA in Monetary Economics from Orleans University, France.

Saurabh is part of the Thematic Investing strategy at Regnan. He is a Fund Manager on the Regnan Sustainable Water and Waste strategy. Previously, he was an Assistant Portfolio Manager on the Fidelity Water & Waste strategy and an Investment Director in Fidelity’s equity team.

Prior to joining Fidelity in 2014, he worked as an equity research analyst for Moody’s Analytics (erst. Copal Amba) from 2011 to 2014 and for Global Data from 2010 to 2011. He has an MBA in Finance from IBS, Hyderabad, India, and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Calcutta, India. In addition, he is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA); and holds a CFA (ICFAI) degree.

Tim Crockford leads the Regnan Equity Impact Solutions team. He previously managed the Hermes Impact Opportunities Equity Fund from its launch in December 2017, having co-founded the Hermes Impact team in 2016. Tim joined Hermes Investment Management in 2009 as a research analyst for the European Equities team and became lead portfolio manager of the ESG-integrated Hermes Europe ex-UK Equity Fund in 2015, which he also managed until he left Hermes.

Mohsin is a fund manager dedicated to the strategy. He was previously a senior analyst on the Hermes Impact Opportunities Equity Fund, having joined Hermes in 2017. Prior to Hermes, Mohsin was an investment manager in Global Equities at Pictet Asset Management. At Pictet his experience included working on thematic equity funds including Water, Clean Energy and Agriculture.

Maxime is an investment analyst dedicated to the strategy. He has a decade of experience in sustainable investment. Previously, as an investment analyst at Hermes from 2016, he participated in the design, launch and management of the Hermes Impact Opportunities Equity Fund. Prior to this he led the integration of ESG and stewardship across investment strategies.
